Kari's story is one of extreme hard work and intense passion.  Originally from South Florida, Kari
Kimmel moved to Los Angeles to pursue her love of music.  Since then, she has done everything
from writing, recording and co­producing her own music to placing her songs in over 250 film and
tv shows and has also been named one of the top 50 artists on VH1.com.

Kari's songs and voice have been featured in film and television shows such as: World War Z,
Shall We Dance, Footloose, Pitch Perfect, Dreamgirls, Ella Enchanted, White Chicks,
WALL­E, The Office, Suburgatory, Jane By Design, Community, Make It Or Break It, 10
Things I Hate About You, The Young and the Restless, The Bold & The Beautiful, America's
Funniest Home Videos, Arrow, Good Luck Charlie, Smash, New Girl, Pretty Little Liars, The
Vampire Diaries, The Good Wife and Justified to name a few. Her songs have also been used
in promos and trailers for the films and TV shows House, 90210, Private Practice, Grey's
Anatomy, Nights in Rodanthe, Free Willy 4, The Walking Dead and Beautiful Creatures.  
Kari's voice has been heard on several television theme songs including Big Rich Texas, Wicked
Fit, The Choice, Beverly Hills Nannies, The Vineyard, and The Fosters, as well as National TV
commercials  Nissan, Jello and Sara Lee.

Kari loves playing live shows! Some of Kari's performances include The The Adam Corolla &
Danny Bonaduce radio show,  NBC Los Angeles, FOX Primeticket, Dodger Games, a benefit
hosted by Prince Edwards of Wales, singing with Florence and The Machine on The Voice, as
well as singing in the house band for David Lynch's Birthday Celebration with Ringo Starr. Kari's
music videos have also had some great exposure. She sang and performed the music video for
the title track of the film "Ella Enchanted", her music video "Low" was used as the promo for the
show Private Practice, and her music video "Trouble" has been featured on Oxygen and NBC
Los Angeles.  In addition, Kari's songs have also been recorded by other recording artists such as
The Backstreet Boys, Kesha, Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato, Gloria Gaynor, Shane Harper and Bridgit
Mendler.

Kari has had many "On Camera" performances such as "The CBS Beatles Tribute" where she
had the pleasure of singing with amazing talent such as Ringo Starr, Dave Grohl, John Mayer,
Alicia Keys, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell, and Keith Urban, "The 2014 Grammys"
singing with Ringo Starr, NCIS, The Middle, and the upcoming Al Pacino film "Imagined". 
In the coming months, you can hear Kari's song "Where You Belong" as the theme song for
Season 2 of the hugely successful ABC Family show "The Fosters", her newly­created band
"Portland" will have a song in the Paramount film "Welcome to Yesterday" in theaters this
coming this October, she will be singing on camera with Al Pacino in his upcoming film
"Imagined", her single Black will be included on the show "Justified"'s season 2 soundtrack, and
her long awaited album entitled "Black" will be releasing late 2014.
