Based in Los Angeles by way of Illinois and Arizona, Velour Academy is a dual female-fronted, dreamy punk pop band. After releasing multiple demos, Velour Academy worked with Alex Estrada (Silver Snakes) and Jack Shirley (Comadre) on their first full-length album OOZE, which was released on slime green cassettes on Friday the 13th, October 2017. The chisme on the streets is that Velour Academy plan to keep things going in 2018 with new music, videos, and live shows.
