Space Cadets

Mixing blues, funk, alternative, rock, and even some hip-hop, Space Cadets defy easy categorization.

Zachary Wexelman (vocalist/guitarist) was raised in St. Louis playing guitar and has been creating music for as long as he can remember. He moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and started playing open mics around town. In late 2013, friend and fellow Boston University alum Dan Creed (bass, backing vocals) joined Zachary to form Space Cadets. They familiarized themselves with the LA scene, playing local clubs and writing music together throughout 2014. Late that year, the duo would become a trio when they stumbled upon John Cocco (percussion) and instantly knew they had found the drummer they'd been searching for.

They've been playing shows and writing music together ever since, releasing their EP "fLAke" in December 2015 and brand new single "Full Attack" in January 2016. With their genre-defying sound, clever lyricism, and electric live show, Space Cadets are quickly making strides in the Los Angeles music scene as one of its hottest and most versatile new acts.
