Kenneth Gilmore (aka Kenny G) has been a skilled musician since he was a young teenager. In the late 60's he learned to play piano, drums, then his true love bass guitar. His incredible vocals will take you on a journey from baritone to first tenor. After playing local clubs of Detroit, he was on tour in the U.S. and abroad with many first class R&B Artists such as Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes and the Spinners in 1973. He opened for Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and The Tavares in 1974. In 1976 he joined the group New Birth which had several worldwide Top Hits such as Wildflower and Dream Merchant. New Birth is still touring. Throughout the years Kenny has joined musical forces with many well known artists such as Billy Paul, David Ruffin (Temptations) McFadden & Whitehead and Tiny Tim. His gospel collaborations include Rance Allen, Rudy Hawkins, Richard Smallwood, and The Clark Sisters. In 2006 Kenny relocated to the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area and formed his new group, Kenny G's Project Band. As a spot on performer he is a true leader and visionary in the music industry. His impressive new group consists of very talented musicians with remarkable resumes, taking you down memory lane one performance at a time. Keith Webb (aka Bubby) is a funky drummer, keyboardist, soulful composer, producer and master recording engineer. As a young child, he found his inspiration from his father, Johnny Borders Jr. (former drummer of Orange Lake Drive), and his uncle Larry Webb, who was also a percussionist. From age five, Bubby would accompany his father to all the rehearsals and gigs he could. He even sat in from time to time and played a song or two with his fathers's band. Uncle Larry would make sure he would listen to great jazz drummers like Dennis Chambers and Dave Weckl. While his father had a very powerful and thundering music style, Uncle Larry would tap the drums smoothly and full of finesse. Bubby’s great talent is allowing him to echo both of those styles with ease. However his skills don’t stop here! After being introduced to the keyboard at age 14, he explored the world of music production. He formed Beatmob Productions with his friend Frank “B-Nice” Williams and produced several tracks for R&B and Hip Hop Recording artists. Bubby has toured as a drummer in the U.S. and abroad with artists such as Dwele, Slum Village, Calvin Richardson, Jaguar Wright, Kindred the Family Soul, The Temptations and Charles Walker. Kenny G’s Project Band is blessed to have him aboard. Kenny Brown is one of Phoenix's own. Kenny B is one of the best lead guitarist around. He's performed with many local bands and major Cruise Lines. When you hear him play Santana's "Maria Maria" and Prince's "Purple Rain" you'll know that he is a musician who has mastered his skill. Kenny B will surprise many of his fans when he sings classic Rock & Roll hits as well as Garth Brooks style Country & Western. He also sings in Spanish for bilingual fans. His vocals blend in perfect harmony with the soulful performances of Kenny G’s Project Band.
