Australian singer-songwriter JR Reyne has been on a musical path right from the beginning. Releasing his debut EP Tex Sessions at the age of 20, then wasting no time releasing the critically acclaimed album Fallen Flower the following year, Reyne was already well in tune with his style of music, citing influences from Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and John Hiatt to Townes Van Zandt, Elvis Costello and Gram Parsons.

Reyne has lived and played all over Australia, America, Asia and the UK, as both a solo artist and in bands, most notably as founding member and frontman of Rushcutter. Whilst spending time in Nashville with Rushcutter he brushed paths with legendary producer Niko Bolas - long time collaborator of Neil Young, Keith Richards and Warren Zevon. Upon returning to Australia, Rushcutter were signed to Mercury Records / Universal and worked with Bolas at Melbourne's famed Sing Sing Studios to produce their debut, critically-acclaimed release, Call High Water.

JR has since released and toured solo efforts “Remember To Breathe” & “Turtledove” throughout Australia & the US to glowing reviews, playing at festivals such as A Day on the Green, St Kilda Festival, Manifestivus, Hot BBQ, Queenscliff Music Festival, Aust. Country Music Muster, and Rock For Relief, and shared stages with Pat Benatar, The Bangles, Gotye, Brett Dennen, Paul Kelly, Clare Bowditch, Cloud Control, The Waifs, Loon Lake, Canyons, Vasco Era & Paris Wells to name a few.

2012 has seen JR relocate to North America where he’s been busy performing at major showcase festivals NXNE and Canadian Music Week as well as pre-producing his debut LP at LA’s famed Capitol Records and TC Studios in Toronto. Reyne is currently touring brand-new release ‘Word Gets Around’ – produced at Kent Ave Studio, NYC which features the JR Reyne Band, and also guests Jon Graboff (Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, Willie Nelson) and Jeff Hill (Shooter Jennings, Rufus Wainwright, Joan As Police Woman).
